It was only a matter of time. The SHAtter exploit would work on an Apple TV, and the Apple TV can be restored in iTunes. A jailbreak was inevitable. MuscleNerd has done it again: Apple TV 2 has been jailbroken.
The Dev-Team hasn’t figured out how to get apps on the device yet, but it probably won’t take them all that much time to start getting iOS devices on your TV.
How do you feel about jailbreaking your Apple TV? Does having apps on the big screen mitigate the danger of a jailbreak? It sure is enticing.
