As you sit in anticipation of today’s iOS 7 release, you’ll probably notice a number of app updates designed to give your apps a more iOS 7 like look and feel. While some developers have been pushing these out for the past couple days, Apple itself has now begun to update its apps for the new OS.
So far, Apple has released updates for its Apple Store app as well as its AirPort Utility app. Both the 2.4 update for Apple Store and the 1.3.2 update for AirPort Utility are designed to optimize the look of the apps for iOS 7. The Apple Store app even sees a significant UI overhaul to its menus to better match iOS 7’s flat design.
There are still a number of official Apple apps that are waiting to be updated. The list consists of Podcasts, Find My Friends, Remote, iBooks, iTunes U, GarageBand, as well as the soon to be free iWork apps, Pages, Numbers, Keynote, iMovie and iPhoto.
It’s unknown just how many of Apple’s apps as well as other major apps will be updated by the end of the day, but keep looking back in the App Store every few hours to check in.
