The folks at 500px, an image sharing website, have finally updated their app for iOS 7. Though the app has been iOS 7-friendly since October, today’s update brings a ton of new design features like blurred backgrounds and flattened icons to help the app fit in with the new OS update. The app’s login screen has also been updated with a cool new animation, adding more beauty to the app.
Aside from just UI tweaks and optimizations, the 500px app has been updated to allow users to signup for 500px accounts through the mobile app itself. Users can choose to sign up for the service using either their email address, Facebook account, Google account, or Twitter account. The update also lets users edit photo details including titles, descriptions, tags, location, and EXIF data.
500px is a photo sharing service that is set to rival Flickr and other services. The service is known to host some of the most artsy photos on the web, and is offered in three pricing plans: free, $25, and $75 per year. The free plan allows for 20 uploads per month while paid accounts allow for unlimited storage and advanced analytics amongst other features.
