Steampunk iMac makes use of 114 year old Remington typewriter

Since we’re all looking to the future, and trying to best-guess what Lion means for the next couple of years, I thought it might be a little bit of fun to take a look backwards. GizmoWatch managed to dig up some images and video of a steampunk iMac that comes complete with a 114-year-old typewriter keyboard that actually works.

According to the article, the nifty machine shown above is comprised of a 1991 Mac running Mac OS 7.5, a Remington typewriter keyboard, and a telegraph-key mouse, as well as a 56K modem built from scratch.

Video Goodness

Sexy. In fact, it’s probably even sexier than Lion. Just saying.

Happy Lion day!
