It’s hard enough knowing that Mexico is enjoying balmy weather right now while us Canadians are freezing this week. When you add the fact that iWork ’11 might be available in local Best Buys around Mexico on February 19th at 7PM, it makes it really difficult to not pick up a plane ticket.
If this notice is any indication that iWork might be popping up on shelves soon, it sure is shaping up to be a huge quarter for Apple. If all rumors are correct, iPhone 5, iPad 2, iWork ’11, and new MacBook Pros could all be on the docket for release in the next couple of months.
Leaks like this happen a lot and success seems to be split. Sometimes it pans out and other times it flops. iPad 2 cases popped up online months ago, but we haven’t seen that device yet. That being said, Best Buy is a little more responsible with their in-store promotional material. Hopefully if iWork ’11 does ship this month, we’ll also see it on the Mac App Store.
If you ask me, all of these upcoming product rumors sure hint at a monster Apple event, should they all pan out.
