Just a few days after launch, the new iMac generation received two software updates. The first one is a 382 MB updated version of 10.6.7, aimed at resolving some bug problems, improvements for Thunderbolt and Back to my Mac, fixing problems with the Mac App Store and issues with graphics stability and 3D performances. Besides the OS update, Apple released an EFI update as well. This update “includes fixes that improve performance and stability for Thunderbolt.”
Apple also released an update for their latest generation of MacBook Pros last night. The MacBook Pro Software Update 1.4 is supposed to improve 3D performance, external display support and Thunderbolt. The MacBook also got an EFI update that provides a fix for problems with Turbo Mode in Boot Camp and also graphic and Thunderbolt improvements.
