Sunrise is a new calendar app released in the App Store February 18 that is being described as the calendar app to replace all calendar apps.
Sunrise is free, fast and quite attractive, as far as applications go. The calendar app has an intuitive user interface that connects through your Facebook, Google and Linkedin accounts and transfers data in a simple, clear way.
Sunrise has real-time synchronization, a Quick Add Event button, reminders, time zone support for all you travellers, inclusion of Facebook events and birthdays, weather forecast based on location, Google maps, and the ability to connect to multiple Google Calendars, among some other nifty features. The app is compatible with several iOS devices, but is optimized for the iPhone 5. All this is available for the low, low price of FREE.
While all this sounds pretty great to me, some of the reviews found in the App Store so far seem to indicate that not all users appreciate the mandatory Facebook Login with no alternative support. If you download the app, let us know what you think.
