Rovio’s latest game, Bad Piggies, was released earlier today and has already hit the number one spot in the iTunes App Store. If you’re unaware, Bad Piggies is slightly similar to Rovio’s other hit, Angry Birds. While Bad Piggies features some of the same characters and animations as Angry Birds, the gameplay is completely different. With Bad Piggies, you play as the pigs and have to make vehicle-like objects to get through the map. I haven’t given Bad Piggies a try yet, but from what I’ve read, it seems to have a very unique concept.
Bad Piggies launched this morning and has already made it to the top spot on the App Store , bringing it up to snuff with Angry Birds Space, one of Rovio’s more recent releases. According to TechCrunch, Angry Birds Space hit 10 million purchases in just 10 days and 50 million in only 35 days.
If you’d like to purchase a copy of Bad Piggies for yourself, we’ve put download links below this post. The game is available now for iOS, OS X and Android but will soon be available on both Windows 8 and Windows Phone.
