Radio Shack, the popular electronics retailer, will start to sell the iPhone 5 on Virgin Mobile tomorrow. The phone is set to retail for $549, $649, and $749 for 16GB, 32GB, and 64GB models respectively. These phones can be used on Virgin Mobile’s $35 prepaid plans that give users unlimited data, messaging, and 300 minutes. Other, more expensive plans are available that give users more minutes. If you purchase you Virgin Mobile iPhone at Radio Shack, you’ll receive a $50 credit if you trade in your old phone before July 27th.
It’s also worth noting that Radio Shack is selling the iPhone 4 and iPhone 4S for $399.99 and $299.99 respectively. However, if you purchase your previous-generation iPhone before July 6th, you’ll receive an additional $50 off.
Virgin Mobile has been carrying the iPhone 4 and 4S for quite some time, but it has been late to the iPhone 5 game. This is likely due to the fact that its LTE network launched well after the iPhone 5 was released. The carrier is run on Sptint’s mobile network and announced earlier this week that it would begin to carry the iPhone. We should also see the device hit Best Buy stores as well as Virgin Mobile’s online store tomorrow.
