I’m all for recycling, especially when it’s carried out in a creative and truly useful way. Another thing I’m a fan of is iPhone cases. While it may take away from Apple beauty, it really allows you to make your iPhone yours while protecting it from damage due to drops, scratches and dents at the same time. This is why, when recycling meets iPhone cases, creative magic really happens.
A prime example of this would be the Recycled Fire Hose Case from Station Supply Co. Yeah, it’s made from an actual fire hose, which means it should protect your iPhone from damage. While we wouldn’t recommend throwing your iPhone into a fire or trying to fight one with it, it’ll probably protect your iPhone from daily damage. The case also looks pretty snazzy too. The original texture of the hose is preserved on the case, which gives it a really cool and urban look.
Now for the real kicker: the case costs $45 USD. While the case is pretty darn expensive for what you get, if you’re into the look, I’d recommend it. Plus, knowing that what’s protecting your iPhone may have at one point saved a life is pretty cool.
