The folks at Teehan + Lax, an Internet startup and the creators of Medium, Readability, and others, have recently uploaded a GUI, or graphical user-interface, PSD kit for iOS 7. This kit includes Photoshop files for the iOS 7 keyboard, menus, and other graphical elements. All of the included elements are meant for the iPhone 5 and are all optimized for the Retina display. Alongside the individual elements, there are a ton of sample screenshots included with the pack.
It’s worth noting that this GUI pack will likely change many times before iOS 7 is released to the public due to the fact that Apple is constantly changing icons and user-interface elements throughout the different beta releases. However, this initial pack is good for mocking up your iOS apps to match the new iOS 7 design elements. As of now, this kit only includes iPhone GUI elements, although the iPad version will most likely be released when the iPad beta goes live.
If you’d like to download this kit for yourself, Teehan + Lax has made it available completely free via its website. Since these files are meant for Photoshop, you’ll need to have Photoshop or a similar tool like Pixelmator installed on your Mac to open and use the kit.
