Apple has announced on their UK iPhone site that iOS 4.1 is expected to be released on September 8th.
This iOS software is highly anticipated for all the bug fixes and for new features like HDR photos and Game Centre, as well as a significant speed improvement for iPhone 3G users.
iOS 4.1 is actually currently available for download for developers, but for those of us who aren’t devs, we only have a few days to wait until the update. Also, please note that this update isn’t available for iPad owners, but iOS 4.2 for iPhone, iPod Touch and iPad will be released this November.
