Saying that the Google+ app for iPhone isn’t the best is an understatement. I mean, the app makes you not want to use the social network as often, but maybe that’s just my opinion. Regardless, Google realized that the app needed a quick refresh and that’s just what they did.
For one thing, the update dubbed v1.0.7.2940 sports a new icon image. It looks pretty nice too. Google has also added full resolution photo uploads, search capabilities, the ability to +1 photos, and the usual bug fixes. I’d say that Google still has some work to do, but this is a good start. Or maybe, this is a punishment to iOS users. After all, Google+ looks much better on Android – just a thought.
