Gazelle, a popular “cash for gadgets” website, has extended its iPhone price guarantee until October 1st. They’ve decided to extend this offer because the new iPhone, or “iPhone 5”, is supposed to launch on September 21st. This gives iPhone users enough time to acquire their new phones before shipping their old iPhones off for a check, cash via PayPal, or Amazon giftcard.
If you’re curious, Gazelle is currently offering $277 for an iPhone 4S (16GB) in “good” condition. Gazelle currently offers cash for all iterations of the iPhone, even the original iPhone. If you’re looking into sending your iPhone to Gazelle, you don’t have to worry about being obligated as you’re not required to send your iPhone to Gazelle once you receive their offer for your iPhone. If and when you do decide to ship your iPhone off, Gazelle will cover shipping and can even send you a box to ship your device in if needed. If you want to lock in your offer, make sure you accept Gazelle’s offer by August 31.
Personally, I’m not a fan of Gazelle as they tend to give lower offers than if you were to sell your device on eBay or Craigslist. Gazelle is a good service to use if you want a quick and easy way to get a few bucks for your old device. But, if you’re looking to maximize your profits, you may want to check out your other options.
