French video game publisher and developer Gameloft has posted an interestingly eerie image on its Modern Combat Facebook page, hinting that it might be a fifth installment of the popular Call of Duty-like mobile gaming series.
In the picture, a man is standing looking out at a warehouse yard covered in snow. He’s holding a gun and on the lefthand side you can see an open doorway with the silhouette of another man standing in it. Very mysterious. Like the sign on the right side, Gameloft posted the image with the caption: “WARNING: NO TRESPASSING.”
Back in December of 2012, a document was leaked on the Internet that contained Gameloft’s entire 2013 release schedule. It told of a game called Modern Combat 5: Last War, which is scheduled to be released in Q4 2013.
According to Pocket Gamer, Gameloft’s fifth Modern Combat game on iOS could be demoed during the keynote presentation for a new Apple product in the next few months.
