When it comes to Cydia tweaks, there’s a lot of garbage kicking around. To be honest, I don’t really find the appeal of jailbreaking; however, Unfold, a slide to unlock replacement for iOS, has me realizing that it’s time iOS gets reimagined and updated.
The tweak, called Unfold, lets users fold their home screen to unlock their screen to reveal the icons on the iOS springboard. It’s not the functionality itself that’s super amazing, but it’s the fresh implementation of an idea that has piqued my interest. iOS is getting long in the tooth, and Unfold is yet another example of just how badly iOS needs an update.
You can get Unfold on the Cydia app store, and it’s completely free. Go figure.
