If you’re an iOS user in San Francisco, you’ll love this news. eBay has announced a new service under the name ‘eBay Now’. This service allows San Francisco residents to order from local stores and have items delivered same day for $5 per item. As of now, this pricing applies to all orders over $25. All of the shopping is completed via the eBay Now app, which is available for free in the App Store. All users will receive $15 off their first purchase with eBay Now.
So now you’re probably thinking, “that’s great, but who can I order products from?” As of now, eBay Now has partnered with Best Buy, Bloomingdales, Macy’s and Target to bring a wide variety of products to your doorstep. Once you’ve ordered a product, you will contacted by your “Shopping Assistant,” who will purchase your product and deliver it to your door.
Personally, I think that eBay Now will be a big hit if it arrives in more cities worldwide and offers a cheaper combined rate for multiple products. Once this service hits Chicago, I will definitely give it a try. If you’re in San Francisco and would like to make an order via eBay Now, feel free to sign up for the service.
