Apparently AT&T iPhone users will have to find something else to complain about: AT&T just issued a press release announcing that on September 25th, 3 days after the official end of Summer, an update will be available to enable MMS on the iPhone 3G and 3GS.
This update, although much anticipated by the iPhone community, has been been received with lots of criticism by a lot of AT&T customers, since it was promised for “late Summer”, a deadline that will be missed by just a few short days. Considering all the complaints AT&T has been getting about their network (bad reception, dropped calls, slow data…) one has to wonder: couldn’t they deliver this update a few days sooner, even if just to avoid getting even more bad PR?
Now that MMS is taken care of iPhone fans can move on to worry about more important things, right? *coughTetheringcough*, *coughGoogleVoicecough*, *coughNetworkSpeedscough*…
…Oh Dear.
