The first crack in AT&T’s armour just showed up today in a Verizon Wireless commercial that shows off the Verizon WiFi card and iPad. Verizon might not yet have the iPhone or the iPad 3G model, but Apple’s doing business with them, and we’ve all heard the CDMA iPhone rumours. It’s only a matter of time, and this commercial is obviously a warm-up run for the company.
The commercial pretty much slaps Mark Zuckerberg’s assertion that the iPad isn’t mobile right in the face.
Macgasm note: The iPad doesn’t work the greatest in direct sunlight, so keep that in mind while Verizon pretends that it does.
