Apple has finally (and officially) launched the new iPad in China. The launch came just weeks after legal battles with Proview over the iPad trademark were resolved. In the past, China has been known for chaotic product launches, but Apple took the right steps to keep it super organized and under control this time around.
Apple launched a pre-sale reservation system yesterday, and it seems to have made a huge difference. Lines to pick up a new iPad were calm and underwhelming. Security measures were still in place, but this launch was absolutely nothing in terms of the chaos compared to the iPhone 4S launch in China back in January.
Congratulations China!
