The iPad mini is expected to be announced next week by Apple, and today a list of assumed iPad mini models show that the smaller iPad is expected to come in four different storage capacities with two color options.
The list, revealed by Apple Insider, shows a total of 24 varieties with four — P101, P103, P105, and P107 — assumed to be the final four that will be released to the public. This lineup indicates that Apple might release an 8-gigabyte model that would be the entry-level model for the lower-priced iPad mini. As of now, the current iPad does not come with a storage capacity lower than 16 gigabytes.
Each of the four different products come with descriptions of “GOOD,” “BETTER,” and “BEST” and Apple Insider speculates that this could mean Wi-Fi only, 3G, and 4G LTE models. Each model is also available in “A” and “B,” which could refer to the color options of black and white.
Alongside the expected announcement of the iPad mini, it has also been speculated that Apple will release updated versions of the iMac and a new 13-inch MacBook Pro with Retina display. Hopefully we’ll know by October 23!
