OmniOutliner for iPad released

The Omni Group has released its long-awaited OmniOutliner for iPad.

The $19.99 app is a counterpart to the group’s desktop app. Like it’s bigger brother, the iPad version offers powerful outlining options, with hierarchy, columns, styling and notes.

The app does a lot more than just outlining, though. It can be used for notes, spreadsheets, documents and photo management as well.

OmniOutliner can export data to iDisk or any WebDAV server via email or it can sync them with a desktop via iTunes File Sharing. It can create plain text, simple HTML, dynamic HTML, or OPML documents.

Like every thing else from OmniFocus, this app is brilliant. It is easy to use, and even easier to look at it. If you take a lot of notes on your iPad, it would be a great addition to your workflow.
