Nibiqü is a new Kickstarter project that aims to bring a Type Cover like experience to the iPad. Like the Type Cover, the Nibiqü adds a physical keyboard to your tablet that also doubles as a case. However, unlike the Type Cover, the Nibiqü works with the iPad and protects the back of it as well. You can prop your iPad up into a comfortable viewing angle using the case as well, which is helpful when typing and viewing movies.
Where can you get a Nibiqü cover for your iPad, anyway? Currently, the Nibiqü is a Kickstarter project seeking $100,000 worth of funding. As of the time of publishing this article, the Nibiqü has received roughly $9,800 from backers with 41 days left. If you’re looking to preorder a case for yourself, expect to drop a pretty $89 if you’re one of the first 100 to preorder or $109 if you get in late on the deal. The Nibiqü is available in six different colors — blue, green, pink, white and gray — and it’s available in English and Spanish variants.
