Apple’s done it again. They’ve cleaned out their stock entirely—The iPad 2 has sold out internationally.
While others are struggling to even bring a device to market, Apple’s continuing to dominate the ‘post-PC’ market with the iPad 2. For a device that was supposed to flop, it’s starting to be pretty obvious that the iPad is here to stay.
Looking at the Regent Street and Covent Garden stores for an iPad? They’re sold out. Looking in Birmingham, Manchester, and Bristol? Sold out. Looking in Canada, Australia, or France? Sold out.
It took Apple just over 24 hours to deplete their stockpile in most countries. Checking 3rd part resellers and big box stores won’t help you either. At this point, if you’re hoping to pick up an iPad 2, you’re probably better off ordering online.
