News Corps’ The Daily has been updated already, only days after its initial release. The nice thing about the update is that it addresses the terrible performance, as well as some other bugs and problems found throughout the application.

The bad news is that The Daily magazine is still a boring read, and lacks in depth articles on interesting topics. We’re not sure how long it’s going to take before they work out those complicated kinks.
If you’re a fan of The Daily you’ll need to delete your application and re-download it entirely to take advantage of the update. The good news is the app is a free download, and the stories are free for another week.
