While it took longer than anticipated to release Episode 2 of The Walking Dead video game series, Telltale Games is on record as saying that their biggest concern is communication to their customers. In a post published last night, Telltale promises a bit more transparency.
For many of you, the most important thing is to let you know when the next episode (Episode 3: Long Road Ahead) will be available, and although we can’t give you an exact date at this time, we can say that episode three will be ready in the middle of August, and that we and our partners will do all that we can to release all platforms and regions as close together as possible.
So while the Xbox 360, PS3, Windows, and Mac releases might not be simultaneous, they are trying to keep the gaps minimal. Considering how difficult it is to wrangle Microsoft and Sony into cooperating with release schedules, it is hard to blame Telltale. Let’s just hope episode 3’s release will be a bit smoother.
