Surely, you’ve seen Jurassic Park. It was a huge step forward in computer graphics, and it has a home in the hearts of many of us who grew up in the 90s. There were sequels, but they didn’t quite live up to the original. Well, Telltale Games has made an episodic video game series that takes place directly after the events of the movie, and puts you right in the thick of things with all of the dinosaurs.
Each chapter in the episodic series is available for iPads (iOS 4.2+) on the App Store for $6.99 USD. That’s $27.96 USD for all four chapters. That might sound like a lot to you, but remember that this is larger scale than most games for iOS. This title also saw a release on the desktop, Playstation 3, and Xbox 360. We should be thrilled to have more substantial games on the platform; even at a higher price than we’re used to seeing. The race to the bottom isn’t going to leave us with great games, so let’s just stop being so tight with our wallets.
