Even though the iPad is a great device, the color choice is a little monochromatic. If you want to make your iPad truly yours, you have to purchase a colorful case or skin to complement your iPad. Though there are many cases that are colorful on the market, only a few of them are functional, colorful, and feature a nice design. One is the FitFolio by Speck Products.
Now for the most important part of the case: its coloring. The case is available in 22 different color options. Each of these options gives the case either a new color or a different design on the back. When purchasing the case, you can choose whether you would like a solid color or a pattern. Some of these patterns include flannel, stripes as well as others. My personal favorite is the BooooomBox Grey that, you guessed it, has a bunch of tiny boom boxes on the back.
The FitFolio’s design is quite unique. Though its stand functionality may not be as great as other iPad cases like the Incipio LGND, it offers two stand modes: one for movie viewing and another for typing. The stand is built into the back of the case so the case can retain it’s slim form when the stand is not in use.
As far as the rest of the case’s design goes, the FitFolio is a folio-style case, meaning that it folds like a book when not in use. This keeps the back, front, and sides of your iPad completely free of damage due to scratching, bumping or dropping. The case is also crafted out of a hard-plastic inner shell, and is coated with either vegan leather or cloth depending on the model you purchase.
You can purchase a Speck Products FitFolio for your iPad 2, third-generation iPad, or fourth-generation iPad with Retina Display for $39.95 via Speck’s website. The company also makes the FitFolio for the iPad mini, Nexus 7, Nook HD, Kindle Fire (HD and standard) as well as the Galaxy Tab 10.1.
