OPULUS New York has recently released its new Executive Alcantara case for iPhone 5 and 5S. This case features a snap-on-the-back style design with transparent sides—cool, but nothing too out of the ordinary, Flip it around, however, and things get more interesting. The Executive Alcantara is offered in two different styles: leather and fabric.
The leather variant features a genuine leather back panel while the fabric version offers a super soft, suede-like finish that I think contrasts well with the plastic sides. Both of the cases look incredible, so it’s up to you to decide which variant best fits your personality.
It’s worth noting that the case leaves the entire front of your iPhone unprotected, so it probably won’t offer your phone much protection against drops. However, if you aren’t very clumsy with your iPhone, the Executive Alcantara should do fine in protecting it from scratches.
