It hasn’t taken long for Tim Cook to start putting his stamp on Apple, the newly minted CEO has promoted iTunes chief Eddy Cue to Senior VP of Internet Software and Services. In addition to overseeing iTunes still, Cue will now be the man solely in charge of the App Store, iBookStore, iCloud, and iAd services.
Cue has been with Apple for 22 years, and according to his newly updated bio on the Apple PR page, Cue played instrumental roles in creating the iTunes Music Store, App Store, and iLife products. So essentially, he’s partially responsible for a large chunk Apple’s revenue over the years. Yeah, he probably deserves this raise.
Note: Terrible pun in the title, I know. As they say on the Internet, “these aren’t your mom’s puns, they’re turbo puns!”
