Earlier today we published a report that Apple had begun shipping the 5th generation iPod touch devices to customers who purchased them as soon as they became available. A bunch have already been delivered, and unboxing videos from Japan have already begun hitting YouTube.
The iPod touch looks a lot smaller than I would have expected, and honestly, I wouldn’t have minded one bit if the iPhone 5 looked exactly like these iPods. They’re pretty snazzy.
That said, it appears that Apple’s still shipping headphones without microphones with their entire iPod lineup. It’a a missed opportunity if you ask me.
