Apple Accepting Old Phones For Trade-In In The UK Now

Apple has officially rolled out its recycling program in the UK today (in store), thereby letting customers give up old devices and receive some extra cash to put towards a new iPhone 5S or iPhone 5C.

The program was already available online, but if you’re the type of person who prefers not to deal with the postal system, you can now walk right into a retail store and trade in that old iPhone and get some credit.

Of course, prices for your devices will vary depending on the model and condition of the device you’re trading in these days. For instance, a pristine 8GB iPhone 3G will net you GBP 5.00 while a newish iPhone 5 will get you GBP 220.00.

Apple also accepts notebooks and desktops from both Apple and other companies, as well as iPad trade-ins. At this point there’s no reason NOT to trade in your stuff unless you’re passing it along to someone else, or it’s broken.

Like we said, you can also do it online.
