iOS 4.3 GM seeded
Apple’s back into the grind today after the huge iPad 2 announcement yesterday. In order to get ready for iPad 2 shipping in a week, iOS 4.3 needs to be up and ready to rock. It should come as no surprise, therefore, thatApple has seeded iOS 4.3 GM to developers. The new iOS version includes most of the new features described by Jobs yesterday during the Keynote (New AirPlay, iTunes Sharing, Orientation Lock). It looks like things are on track for an immediate release within the next week.
Xcode 4 gets a GM bump
Also getting an update today is Xcode 4. Apple’s IDE has been upgraded to Gold Master Seed 2 status, and it’s nearing release also. Usually Xcode ships with new versions of OS X, so we’re expecting to see the application launched sometime this spring as well.
