MacNN reported this morning that the build for OS X 10.6.5 is complete and available internally, according to sources close to Apple.
Purportedly, the 10.6.5 build has been accessible internally since Monday. This traditionally means that the newest version of OS X will be downloadable via Software Update within one to two days.
The latest build of OS X has been a long time coming, as the last Snow Leopard update occurred months ago.
Here is a brief list of what you can expect to see in the 10.6.5 build:
- Update in graphics stability/performance
- Update in printing stability/performance
- Update in Exchange server stability/performance
- Fix in iPhoto processing operations issues
- Fix in Aperture processing operations issues
- Minor bug fixes, including issues with the Dock not hiding and issues dragging contacts from Address Book to iCal.
