If you’re having troubles with the WiFi on your iPad, fret not, Apple has a fix for you—adjust your screen brightness. This is not a joke. There are four suggestions for fixing the problem in the interim while Apple works on a patch for iPad users.
According to Apple you should update your Wi-Fi router’s firmware, make sure you’re using WPA or WPA2, adjust screen brightness, or renew your IP address. One of those four things should temporarily fix your WiFi connectivity problems.
Don’t ask us how the brightness of the screen influences your WiFi signal, because we have no idea. We’re aware of how stupid the concept sounds, but if Apple’s officially suggesting these things as a fix it’ll probably work.
We should probably expect an update in the new future.
