Don’t want to drop $50 on a shiny metal iPad stand, but still want something nice to keep your iPhone upright for watching movies and browsing the web? Well, grab the closest piece of cardboard and prepare to go McGyver on it.
YouTube uploader DaveHax has uploaded an instructional video that takes a 12cm by 15cm piece of cardboard and some scissors to make a sturdy stand that works with most tablets.
The YouTuber also notes that the process can be replicated on a smaller scale for iPhones and other smartphones by using a loyalty card or old credit card as opposed to cardboard.
