Square, the mobile payment startup company, has updated its Square Register app for iOS, which brings the app to version 3.2 and introduces a couple of new features. The new additions to the app include being able to record and track different payments, Bluetooth printer support, and the ability to reconcile the cash drawer.
If you don’t already know, Square Register is basically a digital cash register that comes with a plug-in accessory to accept credit card payments. The app will then send receipts through SMS, but thanks to the new update, Square Register on the iPad can now print them via a Bluetooth printer.
For the iPad, you can now also reconcile your cash drawer quickly and easily with cash management. The iPad and iPhone version now both have the ability to record and track all kinds of payments, including checks and gift cards.
Square Register is a free download from the App Store, and you can get the latest version now.
