Apple’s own App Store app for iPhone has received a new update, bringing it to version 2.6. This update introduces push notifications for delivery updates so you can easily track your shipments. In addition to this, you’ll also receive push notifications to let you know when you’re eligible for an upgrade on your iPhone.
Now when you order something from the Apple Store, you’ll receive automatic updates on its delivery status without having to check manually. Apple will send you notifications when your item has shipped, when your item has been delivered, as well as any updates while its on its way to your house.
On top of that, for customers in the U.S. only, Apple will now let you know when you’re eligible for upgrade pricing on a new iPhone, which is great if you can never remember when that is.
Of course, these push notifications can be customized right in the Apple Store app. To do so, just tap the “More” tab at the bottom of the screen and then choose “Notifications” and you can enable or disable them so they meet your needs.
