The Jobs Pirate Ship To Set Sale Once MOAR

The Starck-Jobs dispute over the booty that was outstanding for the Jobs yacht seems to have finally been settled. As far as we know, no one had to walk the plank. It would have made for a better story, but apparently the dealings between the Jobs family and world renowned designer Philippe Starck have come to a close.

The dispute centered on whether or not the boat was paid for in full, as Mr. Starck’s firm was allegedly only paid $7.9 million USD instead of the $11.8 million USD that was apparently agreed upon. Thing is, in true pirate fashion, there wasn’t an actual contract between the Jobs camp and the Starck group, making the terms of the contract somewhat fluid.

However, Venus has set sail once again, leaving the port in Amsterdam behind it for the first time since December 8th. But, here’s the real problem… why the heck isn’t there a pirate flag flying at half mast permanently on that boat? The first mate better have a parrot that talks crap about Android, too.

I pretty much wrote this post just so I could talk about pirates, because honestly, who gives a crap about a giant 80-meter yacht hanging out in a dock for the holidays.
