Completing the iPhone trifecta for today is another application that really gets me excited about the possibilities that this device can have. John Ballinger has made it possible to monitor your heart rate and store those rates in the phone. Now i’m sure these wouldn’t be used for accurate testing, but it’s a great way to monitor yourself while you’re out running. The application has not been approved as of yet, but I can’t see why Apple would reject it. However, I have no insights into the approval process, so who the heck knows.
